ALABASTER TYPES. TYPES OF ALABASTER PRODUCED BY ARASTONE
In ARASTONE, we have different types of Alabaster. Currently, we market three varieties:
La Zaida

Alabaster stone with an excellent translucidity. Ice white color, veined in reddish and brown. ARASTONE exclusive variety.
Maximum sizes: 120 x 60 cms.
Sotenal
2Translucent Alabaster with brown and grey vein. Another ARASTONE exclusive variety.
Maximun sizes: 100 x 80 cms.
Stone for Sculpture
3 Rounded Alabaster stones Suitable for sculpture. From 50 kg to 5000 kg gross.
PRODUCTS ARASTONE
PLAQUE
We have differents forms what adapt to any surface. It’s depend of project and its application.
Sizes: Until maximum sizes of our varieties.
In ARASTONE, we supply the finished material. We adjust to detailed plans (design, sizes, colours, forms and technical
specifications).
BRICK
Bricks of Alabaster allow to separated the differents environments. The light can cross between them.
Sizes: 30 cm x 15 cm x 5cm (thickness)
We adapt sizes to client’s project. The wall of bricks has a triple function. Firstly, it is a closing. Secondly, it is translucent so, it allows interior lighting with natural light. For the last, it can irradiate light to outside with artifi cial light.
GLASSWARE AND LIGHTS
Alabaster allow inside and outside glazing with minimum thicks of 7mm. (it is depends of sizes).
We have the possibility to use Alabaster like glass in doors and windows, because of its translucence. Its combination with multiples materials produces a beautiful effect.
CEILING
For ceiling, any variety of Alabaster can be used with maximum sizes.
Alabaster’s translucence allow the cross to natural and artifi cial light. It creates beautiful effects and warm places of hight standing.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
In ARASTONE, we study and carry out special projects depending on clients’ necessities.
We adapt their necessities (design,sizes, originality…).
